Wisconsin 8-year-old speaks at Biden's inaugural ceremony

DANE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The 8-year-old girl from Dane County making national headlines for her incredible fundraiser spoke at Wednesday night's primetime inauguration special.

"When I learned that kids who used to get meals at school were going hungry because of COVID, I wanted to open a lemonade stand to raise money to help."

Morgan Marsh-McGlone started an online lemonade stand to raise money for a local food charity.

Her initial goal was to raise $90. She has since raised $53,000.

Her amazing effort caught the eye of Joe Biden's inaugural team, who thought she's a great example of an American who served their community.
