WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Valentine's Day is just two weeks away, and one local flower shop is preparing for the holiday while talking with CBS 58 about the trends you might see in bouquets this year.

Red roses never go out of style in February, but you may also be seeing a lot of tropical foliage and large, whimsical arrangements in 2026.

Kimberlee Grob with Locker's Florist says Valentine's Day is the single busiest holiday for them. If you're looking to have your pick of colors and flowers, she says don't wait until the last minute. Whether you call or stop in, she can help create a one-of-a-kind bouquet for the one you love.

"It really is a language of love. When people call me and they don't know what to say on the card message for sympathy or something emotional, the flowers really do, just like a picture, say a thousand words you don't have in you at that time," said Grob.

During the August floods across southeast Wisconsin, Locker's Florist was damaged and lost a delivery van in the water. This will be the first big holiday for Locker's since.

"We hope people will come in and see us. Every big holiday helps us get through the next months, so we take a lot of time planning. We have to order our roses before Thanksgiving," said Grob.

Locker's Florist and Flower Delivery is located at 1640 S. 83rd St. in West Allis.
