Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee is back with a few tricks and treats downtown
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Public School teachers are fighting back against deals for private charter schools.
The teacher’s union wants the district to increase fees for charter schools in Milwaukee claiming that they cherry pick students for higher test scores while failing to educate students with special needs.
The school board is expected to discuss the issue tonight at Carmen High School. The board will also discuss raises given to MPS administrators without board knowledge, something the district can do given those raises were under a certain amount.
