LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Have you ever tried jumping onto a boat while it's still moving?
CBS 58 meteorologist, Justin Thompson Gee did this morning. It's part of the annual mailboat jumper tryouts in Lake Geneva.
This is the 106th year of Geneva Lake residents getting mail delivered by boat and it's one of only a handful of places left in the country that deliver mail by boat.
Not only do they have to jump in and out of the boat, but they have to do a quarter mile run! Here are the finishers! pic.twitter.com/3969U64NTF

Applicants will tryout on Tuesday, June 14. They're all either high school or college-aged and have already been employed by the cruise line for a year.
In addition to jumping off and on the mailboat the jumpers often act as tour guides. The mailboat season begins on Friday, June 17! You can make reservations here.
