MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A book aimed at helping educators teach preschool-aged children started locally as an in-house curriculum at the Schlitz Audubon. As the nation has seen a surge in nature-based preschools, demand for such a program saw a significant uptick.
The book aims to show that including nature-based activities can support the development of preschool children's learning development.
Catherine Koons Hubbard, author of "Partnering With Nature" joined us on Monday, Jan. 16 to discuss the new book which features topics that young students and teachers alike can utilize to learn about nature.
More information about the book can be found by clicking here.
