Suspect accused of shooting MPD officer during wellness check pleads not guilty

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Jetrin Rodthong, a suspect accused of shooting a Milwaukee Police Department officer during a wellness check, was in court on Wednesday, Feb. 9. 

Rodthong faces eight counts, including attempted first degree homicide and armed carjacking. 

In court, he entered a "not guilty" plea and waived his right to a preliminary hearing. 

Rodthong will be in court again on Monday, Feb. 21.
