MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – On the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, state and local leaders are paying tribute to those killed.
On Tuesday, Governor Scott Walker will deliver remarks at the Milwaukee County Remembers 9/11 Ceremony at the Milwaukee County War Memorial.

The Milwaukee Fire Department will also hold four ceremonies at three different firehouses at 9 a.m. At each, the MFD Honor Guard will call attention and present arms for the salute in remembrance of the first tower collapse. Then, the names of the 343 New York Firefighters who lost their lives will be read.
There will also be a ceremony at Fiserv Forum at 11 a.m. The Greater Milwaukee Fire and Police Pipes and Drums will perform. Two MFD ladder trucks will display the American flag.
