Rodgers takes "50-60%" of snaps at Thursday practice

Amid the debate of the nature of Aaron Rodgers' injury (and how a \"tear\" is defined versus a calf \"strain\"), the Packers franchise player took snaps in Thursday's practice at the Don Hutson Center. Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Rodgers took \"50-60%\" of the snaps during the team portion of practice, and optimism spread in the Packers locker room that #12 would be OK to play Sunday.

How effective Rodgers will be is another story. Regardless of the nature of the injury, Rodgers will likely have limited mobility against the Cowboys, turning him into more of a pocket passer.

The Packers and Cowboys battle at 12:05 Sunday at Lambeau Field in the Cowboys first playoff game at Lambeau Field since the 1967 Ice Bowl.
