The arrival of more snow and rain is a bit worrisome for people living in areas prone to flooding.
That includes areas along the Milwaukee River in Ozaukee County where ice jams caused minor Monday night.
The river flood warning for the Milwaukee River in the Cedarburg/Thiensville area is still in effect until the river recedes below flood stage.
CBS 58's Mike Curkov reports from the scene that the river has already gone done quite a bit.
At Thiensville Village Park the river was at 11.6 feet. Normally its 11.
One of the main concerns for flooding this time of year is ice jams. But the national weather service says those are hard to predict. It's more of a localized problem.
Ice jams happen because of big changes in temperatures were a lot of precipitation both of which we've seen in the last week or so.
