Registration deadline November 1 for return of Warrant Withdrawal Wednesday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Warrant Withdrawal Wednesday is returning.

It will take place on Wednesday, November 14 at Christ the King Baptist Church, located at 7750 N. 60th Street.

Registration begins Thursday, November 1 at 8 a.m. and will be limited to 250 people. You must call 414-286-6600 if interested.

There is no online registration or in-person registration at the Court or at the event.

The event allows City of Milwaukee Municipal Court warrants, driver's license suspensions, and car registration suspensions to be lifted, without immediate payment on the existing fine, so people can drive to jobs or obtain employment.

Eligibility for the event includes:

For those who have NOT attended a previous Warrant Withdrawal Wednesday event in 2017 or 2018.
ONLY for Milwaukee cases with warrants, DL suspensions and/or vehicle registration suspensions.
NOT for those who only have a juvenile case.
NOT for building and zoning cases.
