Racine Man Allegedly Threatened to Shoot Children at a Church

A Racine man allegedly threatened to shoot children at a church and was charged with disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to St. Luke’s Church in Racine on Friday.

The defendant allegedly got into a verbal dispute with two people.

He allegedly threatened to “shoot the children” if someone did not address why the children were not in school.

According to the criminal complaint, the defendant was referencing his “45” and was carrying a bag that was large enough to store a firearm.

A parent of a 5-year-old that was at the church overheard the defendant making statements that he was “gonna shoot these kids.”
