Police: Man holds woman, child at gunpoint inside Kenosha home

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man barricaded himself inside a Kenosha home, holding a woman and child at gunpoint Saturday morning, Feb. 29. 

Kenosha police responded to the scene in the 7600 block of 40th Avenue, at 9 a.m.

Police said a large, coordinated response descended on the home, including the Kenosha County Tactical Response Team. 

At 10 a.m., police said the armed man exited the home and was taken into custody. 

No injuries were reported. 

The man was taken to the Kenosha County Jail and several felony charges will be referred to the Kenosha County District Attorney.
