Operation impact

One of the biggest success stories on how surveillance cameras saved lives and property is being used to get more cameras installed across the City of Milwaukee. Operation IMPACT is responsible for getting more than 30 cameras installed

Melissa Ritchery, an employee of Wild Flour Bakery, was robbed back in 2007. An armed gunman pointed his gun at her while she was working. \"When I had a gun pointed at me, I wasn't looking at facial features. I wasn't memorizing the colors of his eyes or length of his hair, but the cameras capture things that my panic memory at the time could not.\"

The man who robbed the Wild Flour Bakery in 2007 was caught thanks to surveillance cameras installed inside and outside the bakery.
