MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A bank branch dedication took place in Milwaukee's Jackson Park Neighborhood on Tuesday. At times, it looked like they were dedicating a playground instead of a bank.
The new North Shore Bank opened at 42nd and Oklahoma. Along with regular bank services, this branch will have a children's learning area where kids can have fun and pick up some early education about money.
"We feel that by providing this the children's financial standard area in our newest office that they'll be able to come in and learn more, be exposed more about financial terms, the currency and also for them to start saving at an early age," said Alfredo Martin, the branch manager.
North Shore Bank worked with Milwaukee's Betty Brinn Children's Museum to design the kid's area.
