NOW: MPD seeks assistance in locating victim, suspects involved in reported abduction

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are requesting the public's assistance in identifying and locating the victim and suspects of a shots fired and abduction that occurred on Friday, Feb. 21. 

Police say it happened around 3 p.m. near 60th and Custer. 

A witness observed a suspect fire shots with a handgun. The two suspects forced a victim into a vehicle and fled the scene with the victim still inside. 

“I look up and it’s like everything taped off, so immediately my mind starts racing cause you know I live over here so I’m thinking ‘Who is it? Is it my family? Is it somebody I know?’” said Kortez Venable, who lives nearby. 

The victim is described as an African American male, 30-40 years of age, medium complexion with a full beard. He was last seen wearing a blue coat and blue jeans.

Suspect #1 is described as an African American male, 18-19 years of age, 5'7"-5'8", medium build, medium complexion, with a four-inch afro and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as an African American male, 21-22  years of age, 6' tall, skinny build with a light complexion, braided hair to the back, and no facial hair. 

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver two-door Honda Accord, possibly 2005 or similar.

“It’s a close neighborhood over here so like everybody mainly know everybody so if something was to happen over here I wouldn’t know what caused it. That’s kind of like a scare to me cause it’s getting to close to home,” said Venable.
