MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Typically for New Years Eve it’s a countdown to midnight, but for those who have trouble staying up past their bedtime, New Years Eve at Noon is the perfect fit.
"They can't stay up until midnight," said Taylor Thinnes, an event attendee. "My daughters are three and five, it's so nice to have something where they can be doing it and we can just do it as a family."
The Betty Brinn Children's Museum's annual event allows young kids to enjoy the excitement of the New Year with loved ones at a reasonable hour.
"There's really not many places to go to celebrate New Years, especially at the earlier timeline for littles to be able to celebrate along with their parents, along with their community, before they have to go to bed," said Tina Quealy, the CEO of Betty Brinn Children's Museum.
With a beach ball dance bash, face painting, crafts and of course toasting the beach ball drop with apple juice at noon, there was nothing but big smiles welcoming 2025.
"She just loves exploring the museum and playing with other kids," said Lydia Ravenwood, an event attendee.
While making the best of their last day in 2024, some even crafted their goals for the new year.
"Eat stuff," said Skylar Harris, an event attendee.
Ready to make new memories and wish everyone a happy New Year!
"Happy New Year," said Juniper Ravenwood, an event attendee.
