MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee woman is facing three felony charges, according to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
Authorities say Diana Taylor was the business manager for the Hartland-Lakeside School District from 2015-2018.
According to a criminal complaint, during that time, Taylor used a school district credit card to make $33,144 in personal purchases.
For the 2016-2017, authorities say Taylor claimed her correct wages from the school district but failed to report the additional $33,144 she embezzled. It resulted in fraudulent refunds of $2,196 from the department of revenue.
If convicted, Taylor could face up to 22 years in prison and a $45,000 fine.
