Chilly Election Day, then wintry mix and showers return
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee restaurants are giving back to local charities.
The Milwaukee Kitchen Cabinet kicked off their "Three Days of Christmas" on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The organization is made up of local restaurant owners. The initiative brings together restaurants and organizations to provide meals and gifts to youth and families in need.
Wednesday's event supports a community program at Children's Wisconsin for at-risk victims of violence.
"We work hand-in-hand with families for almost a year throughout their healing journey to allow families to build a new sense of community to rebuild themselves, their emotional health, their physical health, their spiritual health from the event that had taken place," said Bridget Clementi of Children's Wisconsin.
Day two supports the Walker's Point Youth and Family Center, and day three supports the COA Youth and Family Centers.
