Milwaukee Police Officer Released from Hospital

Milwaukee Police Officer Baranowski was released on Wednesday from the  Froedtert Hospital.  

Officer Brandon Baranowski walked out of Froedert Hospital with his family less than four days after getting shot across the chest and arm.

A full color guard stood to meet Officer Baranowksi upon his release.

He was surrounded by more than more than 200 supporters including officers with the Milwaukee Police Department and Wauwatosa Police Department and a handful of other agencies.

Baranowski appeared with his arm in a sling and a small injuries across his face and forehead.

At 2:00 AM Sunday morning police say he was shot multiple times by a suspect in a domestic violence situation.

That suspect later took his own life a bad situation that now leaves Baranowski addressing the crowd thanking them for their support.
