Funeral held for 3 kids killed in Thanksgiving Day fire in Kenosha
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Safety and security are at the head of the class, especially in September when students are returning for a new semester.
Marquette University’s police department helps to make sure this urban campus is the safest place it can be with its 40 officers patrolling the area. And now there’s a new app called “Eagle Eye.” It provides easy access to authorities or transportation in addition to tutorials on various topics like self defense. Law enforcement experts say all this is good but self awareness makes it even better.
The Marquette Police Department also has a community support dog called Nattie. She gives comfort for students who happen to be crime victims as well.
