Man Arrested at Brown Deer Police Station for Open Warrant and Domestic Violence

A man with an open warrant with the Brown Deer Police Department was arrested when he went to the station regarding an open records request he had made.
The 48-year-old man was found to have an open warrant with our department and was arrested.
A short time later a 48-year-old female resident reported that the same male assaulted her on May 15, 2016.
He was subsequently charged with Battery-Domestic Violence related. The male was booked and conveyed to the Milwaukee County Jail.
The Battery charge will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. A report was filed.
