Long Term Closure of Elm Grove Road Bridge Starts This Morning

As part of the Zoo Interchange project, the Elm Grove Road Bridge over the I-94 corridor in Brookfield will be closing long-term starting this morning at 6am.  Over the next several months the old bridge will be demolished and a new one built in its place. The bridge is expected to reopen by late summer 2017.

Drivers that normally use this route can use either Moorland Rd. or Sunnyslope Rd. for a detour until construction is complete on the new bridge. Drivers should also expect nightly closures of I-94 once demolition of the bridge starts.
