MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Latino members of the Wisconsin state legislature honored civil rights leader and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez at the state capitol Friday.
It's the first Chavez Day event in the capitol in more than a decade.
The city of Milwaukee also held its own celebration at City Hall. Chavez founded the National Farm Workers Association, which would later become the United Farm Workers Union.
