Storm troopers and jedis stopped by the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to celebrate Star Wars day also known as "May the fourth be with you."
"Even now I am having trouble not tearing up about it. The joy in doing this is beyond words," said Fredrick Kier. He's a members of the 501st Legion, Wisconsin Garrison. Throughout the year, the group shares their passion with others and give back to local charities.
Kids like 10 year old Timmy were excited to meet the characters after he saw the trailer for the new moving coming out in December.
"It's so nice to see everyone who is usually stuck in the hospital to be able to come out for a few minutes see them too," said Timmy.
Organizers brought in the 501st Legion to brighten the kids day.
"It really does bring the spark of light back into these children who are battling all sorts of conditions and diagnoses and being able to come down here and really be children is what we really strive for," said Jill Fahner, Child Life Specialist.
The 501st Legion, Wisconsin Garrison also stopped by the Middleton Public Library and Books & Company in Oconomowoc.
