MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's April 20, or 4/20, and in case you weren't aware, 4/20 has become a culture slang reference for marijuana use.
As the political and legal debate continues over marijuana, there's a brewery in Walker's Point that's marking 4/20 by hosting a unique benefit.
If you stop for a beer at Indeed Brewing, you should know that 100% of their taproom sales Tuesday will go to the Last Prisoner Project. That's a nonprofit group dedicated to changing marijuana laws.
They believe no one should remain incarcerated for cannabis offenses.
For Tuesday's benefit, Indeed Brewing has created some specially flavored beers. The taproom manager calls them the "quintessential stoner snacks."
"So we have a hot Cheetos flavored lager, we have a cosmic brownie flavored dark lager, a dunkel, we have a Pop-Tart flavored berry sour, yeah, it's crazy," said Taproom manager Grant Steskal.
They do have more familiar types of brews as well, of course.
Indeed Brewing is on 2nd St. near Bruce Street. They're open until 11 p.m.
