As  part  of  the  Zoo  Interchange  Project,  a  major  traffic  switch  on  I-94  West,  between  84th  St. and  Hwy 100  is expected to start ahead of the Tuesday morning commute.

With this traffic switch, the westbound 84th Street entrance ramp will only be accessible to I-41 North through late 2017.

To access I-94 West, drivers are encouraged to enter the freeway at 70th St, or take Bluemound Rd. to Moorland Rd. as a detour.

Drivers should also note that during this time, the decision point to travel to I-41 North along I-94 West will occur a 1/2 mile earlier.
