Glendale sees increase in stolen vehicles and burglaries, police chief says

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The City of Glendale has seen an increase in stolen vehicles, vehicles entries, and burglaries.

As a result, the Police Chief has created a list of tips to help keep citizens safe.

According to a release, these crimes are crimes of opportunity where suspects are targeting unlocked vehicles and those vehicles with keys or other valuables left inside. 

Police say that the suspects are also cutting window screens to steal purses, keys, and other valuables that are visible from the window.
