(CBS 58) – As summer approaches, many people will want to head to the pool, beach or lake for fun.
However, drowning remains a leading cause of death for children.
YMCA of the USA’s Lindsay Mondick joined CBS 58 to share water safety tips for kids and families to help them stay safe this summer.
According to Mondick, 75 percent of fatal pool incidents happen at residential locations.
Mondick also shared information on safety products to consider having on hand.
