Elementary Students in Wausau Make Cards for Troops Overseas

WAUSAU, Wis. (WZAW) -- In honor of Random Acts of Kindness week at the end of January, students at G.D. Jones Elementary School learned all about kindness in a guidance lesson.

They used what they learned to make Valentine's Day cards for troops overseas. Wausau Schools Supt. Amy Arlen said 270 cards in total were made.

Arlen said the students did so to show their appreciation for our troops.
