Driver turns himself in after fatally striking motorcyclist, fleeing the scene in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The motorcyclist who died at the crash has been identified as 19-year-old Sturtevant man Zachariah Bulanow.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fatal motorcycle vs. vehicle accident is under investigation in Kenosha.

Crews were called to the accident in the 6400 block of 75th Street around 9:11 p.m. on Sunday.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the involved vehicle fled the scene.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

On Monday morning, the driver of the vehicle that struck the motorcyclist came to the police department. He was taken into custody and identified as a 29-year-old Kenosha man.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Criminal charges after been referred to the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office.
