Deputy Saves Man from Heroin Overdose Death

Walworth County Sheriff’s Office reported a deputy from the Village of Bloomfield Police was able to revive an unconscious mane who had over dosed on heroin.

A deputy came upon a suspicious vehicle at N1858 Daisy Drive in the Village of Bloomfield on December 26 at 3:16 PM.

The vehicle was occupied by one man who was unconscious and upon opening the car determined the man had no pulse and was not breathing.

The deputy removed the subject from the vehicle and administered Naloxone.

The deputy administered two doses and noticed an improvement in pulse. Paramedics who arrived at the scene administered a third dose.

The patient regained consciousness ant the hospital and confirmed heroin use prior to the event.
