SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Crews started tearing down the Shorewood house recently bought by Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele and his fiance.
Plans for this demolition raised some objections from others living in the neighborhood, who claimed it was a historic house and should be saved.
A Shorewood review board signed off on what's called a "restoration" plan for the site.
Chris Abele has said that he plans to live in a house that "respects the neighborhood."
