Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission is accepting applications through March 31 for the position of police officer.

Starting salary is $57,291 after completing paid Police Academy training.

The Academy pay is $1,648 bi-weekly.                                      

Tuition and textbook reimbursement of up to $1,200 per year and your educational achievements will be rewarded with pay increases.

Supervisory positions are filled through internal promotion.  The maximum annual salary for a lieutenant, for example, is $99,955.

Anyone that wishes to apply must be 20-years-old at the time of application.

A high school diploma or GED is, also, required.

In addition, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
