MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Whenever you think you've heard the last story about the abandoned boat, another one just seems to come along.
On Friday, along the lakefront, members of the All City Towing crew were recognized for their efforts removing the boat last month.
County supervisors came together to donate a keg of Miller High Life to the crew to thank them for their dedicated service.
"The work that these guys do every day doesn't usually get a round of applause, you know. When they free up the highways and the traffic jam goes away, there's not usually recognition of that stuff getting done. So, it was really good to recognize the folks that put in the hard work, the problem solving, to accomplish something that had, frankly, stumped a fair amount of folks up until then," said County Supervisor Jack Eckblad.
The Molson Coors company even pitched in on the fun, donating an additional case of High Life and T-shirts for the entire crew.
