Chinese Lantern Festival to take place at Boerner Botanical Gardens

Milwaukee is getting ready to host its first ever Chinese Lantern Festival at the Boerner Botanical Gardens.
Organizers have been hard at work for two weeks constructing lanterns for the festival. when they're done there will be more than a thousand on display.
The event includes a 20 foot lotus fairy and a dragon longer than six school buses.
The China Lantern Festival will run through the entire month of October.
It will open on October 1.
