ChallengeHER is hosting a free event to help Milwaukee-area women business owners learn the ins and outs of federal contracting and to gain direct access to procurement officials and prime contractors. Launched in 2013, ChallengeHER is a joint initiative from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and American Express OPEN to bring more women-owned firms into the federal government’s supply chain.

Attendees will learn how to take part in and leverage the SBA’s signature Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contract Program and receive advice from local women contractors and government representatives.
