MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Returning this year is the Milwaukee Brewers "Trading Card Distribution by Local Police" program.
The goal is to help Milwaukee Police Department officers connect with kids through a mutual love for baseball.
In response to the success of last year’s program, the Brewers are expanding to police departments in four more cities across Wisconsin: Green Bay, Madison, La Crosse and Kenosha.
"I will say the Brewers are incredibly grateful to our local law enforcement for always welcoming opportunities like this with open arms it is just such a fantastic way for us to collaborate,” said Marti Wronski, the chief operation officer for the Brewers.
This year’s cards are comic book themed and feature some of your favorite Brewers such as Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio and William Contreras.
