Bradley Tech High School Holds Life Mentor Day

Local trade and technical professionals have spent the year visiting Milwaukee's Bradley Tech High School and working side by side with students there.

On Friday, the school showed off that partnership at an event they called "Life Mentor Day".

"You instantly see the change when an adult comes in and starts working with a student.  You know right away that the student begins to understand what the career is about."

Mike Loftin, the student you've been watching in this video has been working with welding pros this year.  He tells us the program has brought him many opportunities and he's looking to start an apprenticeship in iron working.
