Arrest Warrant Issued for Muskego Man who Allegedly Burned Down Estranged Wife's Home

Muskego Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for James Barbian for allegedly burning down his estranged wife’s house.

The arson fire took place on Monday around 11:35 AM at S82W13115 Acker Drive.

Tess Corners Fire Department and Muskego Police Department responded to the house engulfed in flames.

Mutual aid was requested from Hales Corners, Village of Big Bend and the Town of Vernon Fire Departments.

The residents were not home at the time of the fire.

Barbian is believed to be operating a maroon 2005 Chevrolet Equinox with Wisconsin Registration plates 480-MUG.

Charges have been filed against Barbian for arson, burglary, and two counts of mistreatment of animals causing death.
