WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Students are taking their first steps towards future careers.
It was the annual Industry Signing Day at Wauwatosa East High School.
Students who got an internship, registered apprenticeship, or youth apprenticeship signed to their companies. All the students will be working on a trade.
One senior was hired to Dave Jones. He tells us he got interested in HVAC through a voluntary program he goes to in the morning.
"I had a lot of fun doing HVAC which I did with a group of 6 other people pretty sure, 5 or 6 other people and I just thought it was a lot of fun, I like how you had to problem solve and stuff like that," said Nolan Anderson, a senior at Wauwatosa East.
Anderson says he'll be going through schooling and starting as a pre-apprentice.
