400 Police and Fire Personnel Take Part in Active Shooter Training

CBS 58 got an inside look on Tuesday at an active shooter training exercise at State Fair Park.  It's a three day gathering with more than 400 law enforcement and fire personnel on hand.

This training exercise was organized by the Greenfield Police Department, but it includes ten different police agencies and seven fire departments. The goal to ensure if an active shooter situation happens all the departments would have gone through the same training.

The demonstration was complete with simulated "victims"  this piece of the training allows a rescue task force team to practice getting aid to people who are hurt even before a scene is secured.
