17th Annual Turkey Bowl Raises Money For Hunger Task Force

WEST ALLIS - A tradition of football and feeding the hungry was on display in West Allis this morning. Friends and family got together at West Allis Central High School to play a little football. This is the 17th year for the Turkey Bowl, a game to play before settling in on the couch to watch the pros.

"Some of the bigger kids out there, they were little when it started, and so to see them come, now some of them when they were little, are playing with their kids so it's really kind of neat to see the evolution," said Mick Wargolet, a Turkey Bowl participant.

Everyone who participated brought some food to donate. The family will be dropping the donations off at The Hunger Task Force tomorrow.
