1-year-old child burned after falling into campfire in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 1-year-old child fell into a campfire on Saturday, July 8 around 10:00 p.m. and suffered facial and upper body burns.
According to officials, the campfire was at a home on Vermont St., between Montana and Scott.
The child was first taken to a local hospital, then flown to one in Madison.
The extent of the child's injuries is unknown at this time.
This accident is currently under investigation.
