Racine Fire Department Rescues Man Stranded in Lake Michigan

A man who was stranded two miles out on Lake Michigan used his cell phone to call 911 for help, according to Racine Fire Department.

Racine Fire Department along with the U.S. Coast Guard were called for an individual stranded approximately two miles out on Lake Michigan.

The operator of the jet ski was not injured however the machine would not start.

He was wearing a wet suit with a PFD and called 911 with his cell phone. The Racine Fire Department rescued the individual and towed the jet skit back to shore.
