Powerball jackpot over $500 million

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday, August 19. That jackpot is estimated at $535 million ($340.1 million cash). This is the 20th drawing since the Powerball jackpot was last hit on June 10, and the 5th largest jackpot in the history of the game.

Three lucky Wisconsin players are holding a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket from the Wednesday, August 16 Powerball drawing. All three tickets matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball.

The lucky winners purchased their tickets at:

• Sentry at 6700 West State Street in Wauwatosa
• Medford Cooperative at 160 Medford Plaza in Medford
• Mega Holiday at 3702 Gateway Drive in Eau Claire

The winning numbers from the Wednesday, August 16 drawing were 9 - 15 - 43 - 60 and 64. The Powerball was 4 and the Power Play number was 3.

Winners at all prize levels have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prizes at the Madison or Milwaukee office.

The odds of winning the $50,000 prize are 1:913,130. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338.
