Police searching for men who passed counterfeit bills at multiple locations in Wisconsin, Ohio

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) Warrants have been issued for two men who police say passed counterfeit bills at the Pick 'n Save in Mount Pleasant and other locations in southeast Wisconsin and Ohio.

Robert Peters, 30, and Allyn Bell, 31, both from Ohio are charged with Uttering a Forgery. 

Mount Pleasant Police are dispatched to the Pick 'n Save on Green Bay Road for a report of counterfeit bills. Police learned that two men entered the store together and purchased a prepaid Visa debit card with four one-hundred dollar bills. 

After the men left the store, the cashier learned the bills were counterfeit after the money counter rejected one of the bills.

Peters and Bell were identified as the suspects in that case and in other cases in Portage and Kenosha. The two men are also suspected of passing counterfeit bills in Stow and Kent Ohio. 

Warrants have been issued for both men.
