Attorney says he's representing person of interest in double homicide at Elkhorn bar

ELKHORN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Attorney Russell Jones confirmed he is representing a person of interest in the Elkhorn double homicide case. 

We are not naming this person because they have not yet been charged in the homicide. 

Jones said his client claims they were "not involved" in the murders and "maintains their innocence."

He says his client has not yet been charged but expects charges to be filed within the week. 

No court date has been set yet.

ELKHORN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Elkhorn police say they've arrested a person of interest in the double homicide at Sports Page Barr Thursday morning, Feb. 1. 

Over the weekend, police say they developed a lead identifying a person of interest.

Authorities say the individual was taken into custody on an unrelated matter as an investigation continues.
