Greendale annual tree lighting ceremony set for Friday after Thanksgiving

GREENDALE, Wis. (CBs 58) -- The village of Greendale is pleased to host the Village’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on “Thanksgiving Friday”, November 24 in front of the Village Hall located at 6500 Northway.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will include music, sing-alongs, and carols starting at 6:30 p.m. Broad Street is one of the most picturesque holiday locations in the Milwaukee area with beautiful holiday lighting. The Chamber and Village will then lead the crowd in counting down to the lighting of the holiday lights throughout Historic Downtown Greendale at 6:50 p.m. Shortly thereafter, Santa Claus will arrive to provide treats to all the “good little boys and girls.”

Greendale residents and visitors are invited to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the holiday season.
