Uplifting Black Liberation and Community (UBLAC) is holding a march in coordination with Washington, D.C.’s National March for Racial Justice to highlight the internationalization of Milwaukee’s racial past and emphasize the invisible struggles of this city’s Black female, trans, and queer people.
The Black Women’s Empowerment March will be held September 30th, 2017 from 9:30a.m. - 12p.m.
It will take place at Victory over Violence Park, 2615 N. MLK Dr. − Crossing Jordan River, 606 W Concorida Ave.
The event will end the event with light refreshments and fellowship.
