Burglary and armed robbery linked to person of interest in Kenosha Co homicide investigation

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office is reporting that an overnight burglary and armed robbery are linked to Andrew Obregon who is a person of interest in a homicide case.

Sheriff Deputies responded to a "smash and grab" type burglary at the Countryside gas station and convenience store on Wilmot Road and US 45 in Kenosha County overnight.

A short time later an armed robbery took place at the Speedway gas station and convenience store along State Highway 50 and Interstate 94 in Kenosha County.

Both of these crimes have been linked to Obregon who led deputies on a vehicle pursuit after he fled the area of the second scene.

He was operating a stolen gold colored Ford SUV.

He crashed the vehicle near the 1600 block of 136th Ave.

A short time later a resident reported that a brand new white Ford Transit cargo van had been stolen near the area where the SUV crashed.

The van has Illinois plates and green colored lettering down the side reading "Sports Interiors."

This incident marks the second pursuit that Obregon has led authorities on. 

Around 2:00 pm Friday deputies engaged in a high speed pursuit with him in Paris Township.

That pursuit traveled through areas of Salem and Brighton in Kenosha County and Kansasville and Union Grove in Racine County.

At that time he was driving a stolen black 1988 Ford Mustang and ultimately eluded officers.  

Obregon is a person of interest in the death of Tywon Anderson. Anderson went missing from Milwaukee and his body was found on Highway 50 in Paris Township on September 26.
